What Are the Drawbacks of Learning Intermediate English?
What Are the Drawbacks of Learning Intermediate English? There are many choices you have when learning intermediate English. But each choice has a drawback and each drawback has a feature.I use this when speaking with other people: 'I know that word but it means something else in your language.' This is a reference to the words that mean something different from the native speakers. So, when you hear someone using the word and he or she uses it in their language, you might say, 'Huh, well I thought it meant this but it does not.' In English we generally associate the word with a meaning of, 'Is this something that happens now?' or 'It seems like this to me' but not necessarily with what it really means.Intermediate English is a difficult dialect for many people. You must be able to translate between the two languages. This can take a while, in fact it could take as long as it takes you to master English. Yet, it is easier to understand the slang of a second language than it is to try to master a first. This is where the experience of communicating fluently is important. This is probably the most frustrating part of learning a second language because you never really get around to communicating like a native speaker of the language you are studying. You just think you are communicating and then you realize that you are trying to communicate the same way you would a native speaker of the language.By learning to experience native speakers in your own language, you will find that the pronunciation is much easier. This is a great place to start if you are a beginning student. It helps when the language you are studying is not very common. It also helps if you understand that when a native speaker is speaking, they might be saying things you do not think that being possible. They might usea whole grammar system to teach you how to talk. It makes it easier to communicate because they have an entire system of communication that they are using. When you do not have this ty pe of system, you still need to make an effort to understand the sounds of their language. To learn a language, you must start out from the very first letter and see how it changes over time. I think of this as step one in learning a second language. I always tell my students, 'You are only going to learn one letter here, two letters here, three letters here and then four letters here.' From there, you will begin to know a great deal more about the language.Understanding how a language works and how you can use it to communicate is key to communication. But understanding how to speak a language is even more important.
